Eight practices Every engagement fixed-price, agreed before we write code
Engagement

How an engagement actually runs.

We would rather show you the method than publish testimonials you cannot check. This is the sequence every engagement follows, what you receive at each stage, and what we need from you to hold the dates.

The five stages

Measure, agree, build, deploy, tune.

The same sequence whether the work is a single integration or a two-year programme. It is deliberately unglamorous, and it is the reason our delivery dates hold.

Start at stage one
What you receive

Six things in every engagement, regardless of size.

These are not upsells or premium tiers. They are the minimum standard for handing you something you can actually run without us.

Where we usually start

The six processes clients bring us first.

All solutions

None of these are industry-specific. They are simply where manual effort accumulates fastest, whatever the sector.

How we hold ourselves to it

One metric, agreed in writing, measured at both ends.

Automation is easy to claim and hard to prove. These four rules are how we make the claim checkable — by you, not by us.

01

The baseline comes first

Before anything is built, we record what the process costs today. Without a starting number, any improvement is an assertion. With one, you can hold us to it — or walk away in week two having lost very little.

02

One metric, not a dashboard of them

Quote turnaround. Time to shortlist. Referral-to-appointment. Each engagement is judged on a single number that you choose and we write into the proposal, so success is not renegotiated at the end.

03

Judgement stays with your people

We automate transcription, retrieval, routing and chasing. Decisions with consequences keep a named human in the loop, with the reasoning shown, by design rather than as a concession.

04

Handover is part of delivery

Documentation, tests, monitoring and ownership transfer are in scope from the start. A system only one supplier understands is a liability wearing an asset’s clothes.

Questions

What clients ask before stage one.

Stage one takes a week.

Discovery is where you find out whether any of this is worth doing. If the payback isn’t there, we will tell you plainly and you will have lost a week rather than a budget.
